Description

I am pretty new to the 3D graphics world. (About a month or so.) And this is my first serious attempt at a realistic portrait. Please leave a comment if you like it, and suggestions on improvement are welcome. Made in poser and rendered in Bryce 5. I also did some post work in Paint Shop Pro 7. Thanks to Maira for the character Silver.

The close-up is way too close. The hair looks fake and undermines your effort to make the portrait look realistic. The skin and the eyes need some gloss because they look too flat. I would also choose a darker hair because it would look more realistic and would match the color of the eyebrows. Don't let my comments dissapoint you. Keep trying and soon you'll be able to render great images. Afterall, this one is good for a total beginner. ;-)
