Very interesting shot! Just the way it is, is wonderful, but I see many opportunities for post work on this one! Many different angles you could take. You should try black and white with fog or misty. Maybe a light shining outof a top window.. Just awesome angle and comp.

Now this is a restoration project for the enthusiast! See what you mean though, attractive and atmospheric during the day, very creepy when the sun goes down.

Doesn't look too scarey, looks a great capture to me. Is it still in use? Like bluehermit said it could be a little creepy in the twilight.
