Some where along some forgotten brook There is hidden in a little tiny nook A small clutch of eggs that I have found While waltzing in the brushes on the ground. Each one is of a different color and hue. What to do with them I have no clue. I tire of green eggs and ham And my name is certainly not sam. So eggsacty what kind of eggs are these? Do I hoist them up in the breezy trees? Do I throw them in that yonder pond? Of that idea I’m not really fond. This is such an eggciting and wonderful find And plays ring a rosie in my small mind. So eggsactly where am I going with this? It is a rhyme with a hit or miss. This story has no beginning and it has no end It is just a little teaser for my dear friend. To play the game we must talk in a rhyme To continue the chatter the words we must find. There is no more. That is all she wrote ‘Cause I caught a frog in me little throat.
