Description

Well today is the day! yes! I have a new spiffy double jet broom and will be able to make the big do tonight! If I can avoid the trees, I have trouble with tree. Lots of dancing, chanting and Witches Brew! :o) I hope this image isn't too dark. Thank you to all who fav'd and commented on my last image. As always, they were wonderful. :o) It was a dark and stormy night. (Always wanted to write that) lol...Back to the story. Okay, so it wasn't really a dark and stormy night, but the wind was blowing and the full moon peeked through heavy clouds casting deep shadows upon the land. The air was filled with a damp mist and a fog was creeping across the fields. It was a night not fit for man, fairy or gentle critter. It's All Hallows Eve and imaginations were running high in the Forest and Elf Village. The village was shuttered tight and the fairies were snug in their homes in the Forest. This is not a night to out and about. Every fairy and Elf in the Forest has heard the stories of what can happen if you wander out on this magical night. I've been told by my source, that they are still looking for Druscilla, a very headstrong fairy who didn't believe a word of it and ventured out on this spell infested night...well, as you may have guessed, she was never seen again, at least not in her normal state... All that was found were a few feathers and some fairy dust. Then there was Tom, a nice and personable elf from the village who also was a doubter. He too, vanished. The rumor is he was turned into Mr. Pumpkin Head by a first year witch who needed stronger glasses to read the spell book. Jack appears and disappears on whim and tries to peak through the shutters in the village. And you thought the legend of Peeking Tom originated with Lady Godiva. :o/ Not true. Nope, it started right here in the Elf Village when Tom disappeared. Geesh, you'll believe anything! Anyway, he is supposed to live up in the old abandoned house on the hill. Honest...well... that's what I have told. :o) And no one and I mean no one, wants to meet the creatures that roam the earth on this special night of ghosts and ghouls, strange ugly creatures with high pitched voices, laughing and screaming, witches on brooms, demons dripping gunk from their mouths, vampires with fanged grins and magical spells running amuck. On this night of all nights, make sure you have the candles and lanterns lighted and plenty of wood for the fire. The shutters should be closed tightly and doors strongly bolted and if you hear knock...knock...knock or the bell rings...with laughing and screaming and a sound that strikes fear in every fairy and elf in the Forest and village on the wind ..."TRICK or TREEEAT!" Think twice before you unbolt the door and welcome them in. They may look cute in their dress, but they are really demons in disguise, who would not hesitate to deck your trees, car, house and dog in toilet paper if there isn't a good treat to be had...(Have plenty of goodies on hand if you are silly enough to unbolt the door) Now, I don't know, I have never experienced this phenomena, but that's what I've been told. :o) Happy and Safe Halloween to Everyone, may the treats be piled high. :o) DAZ-Jack-o-Lantern DAZ-Haunted Victorian House

You are not only a person with a great sense of humor but one that is truly a talented person in so many ways. The posting is not just absolutely fantastic by the scene you have created, but more so in the way your narrative takes the viewer on a magical journey. If it was possible i would give you rating of 100 and it would be well deserved. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

You're lucky the little Demons only deck everything in toilet paper. The little Monsters round here like to use rotten eggs!!! (strong enough to strip the paint right off your car!!!) I've heard it said that some will heft half a brick through your window if you dont give them cash instead of sweets!! LOL
