Description
This is my first bit of aviation art for a while. It depicts the British Nightfighter pilot John Cunningham and Radar Operator Jimmy Rawnsely in their Bristol Beaufighter 1F, R2101. On the night of 15/16 April 1941 Cunningham and Rawnsley destroyed three He111's. Cunninghams final score was 20 confirmed, 3 probables and 7 damaged. After the war Cunningham became a test pilot for De Havilands.
