Description

So let's see....I'm not entirely satisfied with this picture. I've been working on it for some time now, taking breaks here and there to start other pictures, coming back to it every now and then. I try and think of everything I do as a work in progress since I've only been using Vue for a couple of months now, but at the same time I try not to rush pictures too often. But I want to start moving on to other lands now, so I thought I should post this first. That said....most of the vegetation was created in Vue...the trees are Vue trees on top of trunks made using Silo, and there are a couple of xfrog oddities as well. Thanks for looking! Hope you like it! Would like some criticism to help me improve!

So atmospheric. What a great use of color. So subtle. And what an eerie atmosphere you create by putting that beauty against that twisted sky. And the trees have an almost sapped-of-color look to them that is both beautiful and - again - eerie. The amber glow contained at the bottom of the piece is like a secret. So much going on in this piece, and the composition is lovely, particularly the placement of the trees.

This is truly amazing !!! I don't know about vue....it's too complcated for me but it should take a lot of rendering time for this huge amount of vegetation....I used bryce sometimes but couldnt get your results.... Your variety of plants is astonishing !!! I can really feel the influence of Tolkien on you!!!!
