When I look at the body of this butterfly, I'd almost think they're connected to the bees. Great shot!!

I know what you are doing, you are saving these bits of sunshine to keep us warm through the winter. Good idea me thinks. Beautiful macro Diane, the detail is fantastic the colour so warm I've had to stand back from the monitor. Excellent work as always. Catch! here some sunshine back. Hugs Bravo!!!!!

Very vibrant colors, but then, that might be why it is called "peacock." :-) Very nicely done. The direction of the butterfly is unique. Excellent macro!

WOW, Diane...two gorgeous subjects here. The butterfly is beautiful, and the blossoms are just as outstanding and wonderfully detailed. I love the brilliant colors and the shadow cast by the butterfly on the blossoms. The whole thing is beautifully captured with all of the delicate parts crisply and distinctly captured. Great, great work! Quite soothing too!

Excellent shot. :-) If there is anything about this image I am not quite certain about it's the angle. I find myself looking at it and twisting my neck, wondering if it wouldn't look even better if you had rotated the image 90° clockwise. But I guess that's just me and my personal preferences. And it's certainly not enough to distract from the beauty of this capture. :-)

I can't believe the way you capture butterflies! They are not famous for modelling patiently. :) The light on the butterfly is awesome, a strong beam, directly on it's wings. Beautiful, dear Diane.

Diana that beautiful That beautiful it is this butterfly.... so delicate, so full with life... I thought that the butterflies were different in each country, but here there are also them of the same type... that means that the butterflies travel long distances... many journeys... terrible!! They make happy my life... and I want to bring this to house!! Happiness Diana for so much beauty!! Roby ;O)♥
