Description

Mornin' All *S* Now JIC you all are scratchin' your heads and sayin' morphic what???,
Morphic Resonance is a term coined by Cambridge trained botanist Rupert Sheldrake and is defined as "the idea of mysterious telepathy-type interconnections between organisms and of collective memories within species" and accounts for phantom limbs, how dogs know when their owners are coming home, and how people know when someone is staring at them. Similar forms (morphs, or "fields of information") reverberate and exchange information within a universal life force. Needless to say, not all scientists concur with his views :o) If you're burning with curiosity for more, here's a coupla websites. Scientific American skepdic Y'all have a great day and many thanks to all of you for the faves on my image Enoch that made the Charts !!! ~ Love & Hugs ~ * Mina * Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Credits: www.cirratus.org www.spy-glass.net (and thanks Gene) :o)

In my experience dogs, daily, scamper through the doorway of "morphic resonance." They just don't talk about it. :-) Wonderful image dearest Mina. HUGS

By whatever name, this phenomenon is certainly real. Scientists can be dismissive about it and minimize the importance of these events, but it's tough to say they don't happen. Wonderful image, my dear! Even without the fascinating topic to go with, this is an awesome abstract!

Well..the certainty of its existence I don't question. His inclusion of phantom limbs, however, I do. For that, there is a curious and intricate physiological explanation in that the brain continues to receive complex neurological transmissions, unaware that the limb no longer exists. Leave it to me to balance between the scientific and existential, yes? lol. All that aside, dear Mina, I can't even imagine a more accurate and resonant interpretation of the otherly ...than this. :)

Hey, what do you know! Actually something I know a little something about! I think the split among scientist is more over cause rather than effect. Of course in principle I have to deny such a force exists, otherwise I would have to admit I have something in common with other life forms on this planet. I just can not accept that. I am after all too superior and unique for anything so mundane. I feel better now that I have gotten that off my chest. :O)

Yes, I may say, that it is a mysterious image, but I like the dreamy look and nobody can make these dreamy mysterious artworks better than you can, dear Mina. It is always exiting to visit your gallery. And yes...sometimes things happen, that is so hart to explain. And that is indeed exiting too.
