Description

This is an image that pretty much came from my drive home every night. I pass this rusted out silo sitting in the middle of a field and I wanted to try and create my own version of it. I think this one turned out pretty nice. I feel pretty good about this one as it is the first time in Vue that I actually tried some creative adjusting to the materials to get the look I wanted. I took the original "furrowed soil" and adjusted the bump map to get the deeper grooves in the soil as the first one just seemed too smooth. I also added a bit of dried grass to the map to make it look a bit more natural. I added a roof to the silo, just a simple sphere really that I added a steel and moss surface to. I tried to make it look like it had seen better days. *S* I also did some post work in PSP to create a slightly more autumn sunset look to the image. Thanks for looking.

Your posting speaks volumes about your creativity. The changes you have made without seeing the original show me that you indeed have a flair for art.
