A lovely iris, nice close detail, I like the colours and stripes! The only ones I ever see here in the UK are Purple or Yellow. I can't remember seeing any other variations.

Great shot of the purple striped, cabbage leafed, iris. Although the contrast isn't too bad, the image could stand some brightening.

if I am right this iris has an odor to attract certain insects to pollinate it and has the appearance of decaying meat.I never thought about them that way until I read information on the web.I was thinking they were much more beautiful before I read the info.I still think they are pretty.your capture is right on!!!the brightness has no fault and is just right
