Description

...the morph is finally hammered out, she's been named, and most of her face is where I want it. (Whew.) This girl has been nagging at me regularly, keeping me awake at night, and insisting I get to work on her. She's in Product Showcase not as any kind of immediate advertisement, but as "will probably be available for sale eventually". When I say "kept me up at night", I mean it literally. I dragged myself out of bed on more than one night to tweak bits of the morph in Modo initially, and later to refine it in Poser. I'm still in the midst of a hair binge, but as I used her morph with Bella Lively's texture as a model for the latest hair that I'm still editing the code on, she started nagging at me to finally finish her. (Finish = do something more than just twiddle the morph over a period of weeks, since I finally found the right final adjustment I'd been looking for when setting her up for the hair project. Sigh. Why can't anything ever be simple? *laugh*) Her brows need a bit more tweaking, and there are other things to fight with on her face, but that's the basics of her natural face, and I'm surprisingly happy with them. She's coming out looking a bit more sweet than her initial concept sketches, which, while very rough, had a definite suggestion of personality behind them. Oddly, though, she looks closer to her concept sketch than the others I've done from my own sketches (Marai, Kezra -- people would not recognize them at all). The "hard to pin down ethnic mix" I'd hoped for seems to be working; or at least she doesn't look completely "generic caucasian" to me. She's presently wearing some of Bella Lively's eyes, since they're 1. done already and 2. a nice match with this hair and background, IMHO. But... I'm rambling when I should be working on the rest of her skin (or -- *gasp* sleeping, perhaps), so I'll hush up now. There will be more hair textures soon(ish).
