Description

Aït Benhaddou is a 'fortified city', or ksar, along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech in present-day Morocco. It is situated in Souss-Massa-Draâ on a hill along the Ouarzazate River and has some beautiful examples of kasbahs, which unfortunately get damaged each rainstorm. Most of the town's inhabitants now live in a more modern village at the other side of the river; ten families however still live within the ksar. Aït Benhaddou is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and several films have been shot there. Thank you very much for your comments on my previous upload :

Bonjour Michel, heureux de retrouver ta série sur le maroc, pays où j'ai habité pendant deux ans il y a bien longtemps, j'y ai laissé une part de moi même et je sais que j'y retournerais. Une très belle photo de cett endroit fabuleux de la vallée du Drâa!!
