Description
...always wanted to have a city named after me...
I usually try to avoid bright sunlight in my images because of the limitation to experiment with different lightsources, but i thought i could give my future-citizens at least one sunny day...
Poser for the pilot, Imagestyler for the signs, and Bryce for the rest.
Motionblur in PSP.
Enjoy.

Very impressive! I like the signs, especially the neurophone. Very funny!

Your best one so far, I think. Very impressive, and excellent motion.

Excellent Scifi city. Looks like a realistic possible future. Like the others said, those signs are great. Ill have to look up Imagestyler, never heard of it.

Okay, one little nit-pick, which is that when people do these city scenes (and this is definitely one of the better ones) they always seem to have only one type of flying car. Throw in some different cars and it'll be even cooler!

OK so whats the going rate for a pad here? ;-) I bet I get a know-the-guy-who-owns-the-city discount! OK great work. Love the cranked angle shot! One suggestion. What if you had a faint jet trail going across the sky? I think it might provide greater depth to the image and also consolidate the cranked angle shot (not to mention further establish the credibility of Rochrpolis for whats a megapolis without a few jets buzzing around?). I also have the feeling that you'd make a great architect! And those textures...so realistic!!! I'd have my best and most impressive designed building in the center (where the glass hemisphere is). That way it would center the attraction in the image and make the background look even busier! The fly-cab,which is taking off, should ideally have its exhaust/jet/ lift off mechanism pointing down (or is it just a landing mechanism?). Once again, those textures, cant wait to get my hands on them!!! :-P I also agree with bebe about the cars!

No nitpicking from this kid. This one's a gem and makes me wish I wasn't pretending I knew how to use Bryce. Damn you and your talents.

If I had one itsy-bitsy nitpick is the size of the pits on the concrete on the building on the left. They look just a little too big to me. Other than that, awesome.

OK! A lot of great suggestions here guys!Youve givin me some ideas for new projects. I was actually thinking of making a small series of images based on this city, so your suggestions is much appreciated. About Imagestyler, its actually an ADOBE program, but they dont sell it anymore. Why, is for me a mystery, because its a great software and very easy to use. As the mayor of Rochropolis ill be happy to give you guys a city discount.Just go to the Computerstore at Quantum Street 12b on city level 4, and you will get two neurologic cellularphones for the price of one. Surgery included... :)

The side building would be a great place to skate :), great image

Definatley one of the better SciFi cities I have seen (certainly better than mine! lol) I agree, a bit more air traffic would be good, and maybe some people (queuing for the taxi?). I like the lighting too - as you so rightly said, it's not often SciFi cities get nice weather! - Gives it more of a 5th element feel as opposed to that overdone Bladerunner look. :)

Damn! This is excellent. I am a sucker for sci-fi cityscapes and this is one of the very best I have seen! And believe me, I know my cityscapes. :o)
