1955 Cadillac Elmerado
1955 Cadillac Custom Convertible "Elmerado"
This custom built Cadillac was designed by the crew at ASA with lots of help from John D'Agostino. The Elmerado was named after the builders father "Elmer". A rare chopped & sectioned functioning convertible cadillac. The car was completely redone front to back & top to bottom. Bob Divine customized the interior using crocodile & leather, PPG seafoam & teal pearl blends applied with a touch of liquid crystal. Elmerado was a feature car in Drive Magazine in Europe and it was also the feature car in chromes Flamen - chrome flames.
Places first everywhere it shows. Currently on display, and for sale, at the Imperial Palace Auto Collections.

It's a wooden buck glued together with Elmer's. Woodcrafter's is not necessary. There is no need for a field the armature is enough. The Dagmars make sense as long as the women wear bras. Then one day they discard them and the marquee is lit up with a new star.

That looks like a Cadillac concept car as I don't remember ever seeing one of those on the street. Or is it a custom car? Nice set of photos.

Excellent job of capturing the beauty of this Caddy, Richard! It awakens memories of the days when each make of car had its own personality. The cars today all look the same to me... Why do we need aerodynamics for 200mph when the fastest we're allowed to drive is 70?!? In these cars the ride is smooth and solid at that speed. Thanks for sharing this with us!
