Description

I was going down I-49 and saw Indian creek turn off so on the way back I going to see this place I heard about and been there when I was small. I turn into a gas place to ask how far it was and he say "four miles". good I can do that. So I took off and drove next thing I know I was ten miles and in some National Forset. lol I drove around there for about an hour and stop here and there and took photos. I saw the sun getting lower so I took off and find another gas place and they say "see that bridge? Cross over and the sign be there" I saw the sign up on a telephone pole. I was looking for a green sign but this one was all colors. I turn down the road and came up to the place that take your money; $3 dollars lol... told them I be there for 20 mintures for when the sun down I can not take photos. They say OK I can go in free. I took off to find the lake and as I went I took photos of the campsites, then the lake. I took I guess 100 photos there. here is one of them. I was playing with the sunset. I read where to can just get into the shadows and focus and get the light reading then move it to where you wish you get a better sun setting image. I think I need to do it more to get better but it do work. here is one of them. oh I happy I got lost for I did not know that Cata..... Nation Forest was there. Nice place to see but I would not walk around that place now for it hunting season and I might get shot. I been hunting before and almost got shot two times I know of. ONe time a bullit just miss me by 3 to 5 feet That spooky there lol[if I did walk I would ware hunter orange.](I was wareing the hunter orange when the bullits fly by me and hit a tree next to me.] thanks for looking and comments. I be around off and on today but I catch up on you wonderful art.

This comes at an appropriate place as yesterday looking at an artificial sunset I saw some green in the sky and I said to my self. CMYK/RGB!!! I wonder how the ionization at the earth's limb avoids mixing lights yellow with dust scatter blue to get green? The answer I think is in something I worked at with colored glass solar collectors. There is only one color shift per sunray. Thus the heat absorption of a ray is singular and the emissivity of all the materials it meets along it path to the eye or camera has only one temperature. Once the sun's corona effect is shifted from 2 million degrees to near tungsten you might as well be in a studio. You can simulate the solar collection with flood lights or infrared heat lamps with no real diffrerence. Where your photo comes in is with not being able to see the horizon. The sunset is high above the trees. It does not come into the distant haze where there still might be some real green. America has an East Coast and a West Coast where some great sunrises and sunsets can be viewed. In France you have to go to the Atlantic and Biscay to see directly West and the Mediterranean Coast and Riviera to see East kind of skewed. In Germany the Russians are in the way of a sunrise and the Baltic isn't really looking West.
