Description
A lady who'd come to my last show had asked for a "goth" type fairy. Let's face it....if you've crept past thirty, "goth" is a concept that is difficult to wrap your head around.
I have crept past that milestone.
So...I know that "goth" is sometimes associated with "Hot Topic" clothing stores, the music of Marilyn Manson (and others of that stripe), dark eye makeup, piercings...and so on.
After many hours, and several attempts (my first being the previously posted "Light My Fire"), I came up with this one.
I don't know how "goth" it actually is, but she's wearing a lot of dark eye makeup, and she's wearing all black.
In any case, here's my first stab at "goth".
Maybe next time, I'll raid the kid's music collection to set me in a darker mood.

Glad to see you posting more often. Well suited to the music. I love the darker image. Great wings amazing background. BTW the Beatles are definitely NOT Goth. Try Evanessence, Immortal Beloved. Not even the words although they are quite evocative it's the music itself and wht it does to you. That's the view from over fifty, LOL. BJ

Great dark, vivid, rich colors. Her clothing and look passes for Gothic (then again, I've ventured past that milestone as well). Great pose - excellent illustration.
