Description
Rich and I were having such fun with the red branches of that once was bush that you can see in the pick that David posted of us in the forum.
As we were about to walk away I spotted this leave hanging on for dear life, not wanting to hit the floor and become 'a part of the crowd', a spiders web it's saving grace.
I hope I haven't over worked it.
Honourable mention: Thanx Dan for the lend of your 50mm on this one!!!

Mine is going up tomorrow, but was your red on green idea, it seems we swapped shot ideas here ;) Dont think you overdid the work, but i do think a bit more dof would have given sharpness to the whole leaf... you had the room in the settings for that by the looks of it. Mine was at f3.2 and still the leaf is a bit oof in parts. Nice compo, central but the diagonal seems to break it up a bit :)

Thanx for the favourites and the comments. Rich I can't wait to see your one. I'm not sure how much more DOF I could've gotten, I mean the lens was on f/1.8 already... Maybe it looks sharper coz I sharpened the whole shot and not just the leave, web and branch? I'd really be interested on how you think I could get more DOF, coz if I could've hell I would!!! LOL

Now this definitely has "WOW" factor!! I totally love it!! I can see why this made it into LWITG, a very deserving addition. Your eye for detail is amazing and watching you in action with your camera leaves me in awe. You can just "see" things that so many of us don't and able to know just what angle to shoot from. The colours are outstanding in this shot and I'm amazed that you managed to capture that tiny cobweb! The leaf just jumps out and smacks you in the face too LOL!! I like the diagonal "split" in the shot from the branch and the soft merging of colours, this creates a very good composition! Hugs Chrissy xx
