If you was previously in my favorite artist list and was recently removed this is because i was in the critique group but it seems to be dead these days.

Im not really much a community person, im mostly here to learn, view and share art.
Been a member for quite a while now and ive been using poser for even longer, but i tend to loose interest after a couple of months and then go missing for a while.
I always show up sooner or later tho, cant stay away from the drug that is CG.
So far the only aplications i have any idea of how to use are Poser and Vue. I have tried to force myself to learn the more advanced packages like Max and maya but i always find that my motivation is not enough to break thru the wall that is learning the adanced programs.
Recently i have managed to learn a few basic things about modelling and hopefully i will be able to do something more creative than following tutorials some time soon.
Anyways, feel free to look through my gallery, and when (not if) you see something i need to improve upon then dont hesitate to comment/drop me a PM since i always strive to improve.
May the polygons be with you.

looks pretty good to me - nice atmosphere

Nice pov and vantage point. It shows off the vast scale of the intimidating structure they've just began to explore. Reminds me a little of the "Lords of the Rings" movie, when they enter the old dwarven city. Nicely done

Excellent scene and work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If that's how you feel, come back to it and replace with the 'edit' option. I did that with my recent Nile scene. As it is, this give a great feel of the unknown and an excellent sense of scale. I particlularly like the volumetric lighting here. It adds a great deal to the image.

great perspective and scale. the volumetric lighting is perfect for a scene like this. it communicates undisturbed vastness very well. i don't know Vue, so i can't say how to do it, but i think the lighting could be more realistic. that is, i love where you've placed the light sources, but the overall lighting isn't realistic. global illumination might help, but adjustments of levels and such with layers would probably help a lot, too. it would be great if one or two aspects of your adventurers stood out more. bright hair, shiny armor, something to give them an eye catching quality and make them stand out as characters. having that much empty space and such a high view gives the impression that something is about to happen and creates dramatic tension. really great job.

I know that feeling well... I agree with most comments from cobaltdream. I do like the image and I think it could be a great scene.

I really like it as is; thanks for sharing. The only thing I'd really consider changing is swapping which hand carries the torch vs carries the spear so it doesn't obliterate as much of their faces and shifts the light a little to show a shadow outline from the torch rather than just blending with the shadow line from the archway.
