Me trying out my new model I made. its rendered in bryce with no textures, then painted in gimp. ugh... this took a looooooootttt of postwork, about hmm... 3 hours, AND IT STILL DOESNT LOOK RIGHT!

Wow, you're brave going into the entire surface texturing in postwork! Looks really cool so far, though. I like to mess with the texture materials in Bryce, and then do more changes during postwork.

The painted effect works well as it softens what would otherwise be a hard-edged structure. Cool!
