Well, what can I say? Art in its many shapes and forms has always interested me, and I've dabbled around in a little bit of everything. My current passions are bead work, crocheting, sculpting, and costume making.
I am now employed by a non-profit that focuses on early childhood education, a far cry and tremendous blessing from my retail jungle days of yore. I still don't have kids, so most of my free time is taken up by church activities, the gym, household stuffs and cooking, playing EQ2 (as my silly Ratonga, Meeba) and crafting when I get around to it...and Facebook, lots and lots of Facebook. My current goals are to continue to be a more awesome person, get better at self-motivation, not spend so much time on Facebook, and finish my various craft projects - not in that particular order. Oh, and I DID eventually get married, and have been happily wedded for 8 years now. ;)
Just from reading this, you've probably already guessed that my mind tends to work a little bit off the wall and hanging from the ceiling. In fact, it's been 10 years since the first time I typed this bio and that really hasn't changed much. I guess I've just mellowed a bit more now. :P
All in all, I'd say I'm an interesting blend of Id evading Ego and trying to act like the 28.... er 38 (OMG!!!), year old that I am. Feel free to poke around my blog and gallery. There's not much there right now, and I most likely won't be adding to it at this point, but if you want to see what I was like 10 years ago then have at it! :)

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll take it into consideration and try to re-do the picture:) As for the background, I didn't make it so adjusting the length of the grass is gonna be a bit difficult. Also, it takes a LOT to offend me so any critical comments are welcome! Pick it apart as much as you want, every suggestion helps me become a better artist!:)

Hello, commenting because of the blog of yours that I saw. I have to admit, the same thing drives me bonkers. >.o; Anyway. I just wanted to give a few suggestions. I'll just go through them because I don't know if someone else has said the same thing or not, and I prefer posting comments on other people's work, not reading through what else was posted, lmao. M'kay, lemme see...the background is a very gentle, delicate type of sky. The actual rendered portion seems a little bit harsh compared to it, so maybe just soften it a little bit. The lighting on the rendered portion could also use a little bit of softening, but not too much. The grass length is fine, don't worry about that (happened to catch a comment about that while getting here). Her hair is fine, but you may want to darken it, or make it a little bit less harsh in contrast. Another thing I would suggest, to pair the two together, is to colour the dress the same as the dragon. At least the corset part, the skirt is fine. Also, perhaps turn the dragon's eye a bit more towards the girl. Right now he kinda looks like he's not focusing on anything. And if you can, change the border colour to a shade lighter than the dragon. It'll make a nice contrast to the pink. =) Other than that, the expression and posing are both beautiful, and the dragon is just a doll. Very nice picture, just those few things would maybe make it less...pfft, what's the word...just a little less distracting, maybe? Happy rendering!
