A sight that warms my heart and soul...and reminds me of dancing feet in the earth and good company, heartfelt laughter and true peace.

This sight tears me in half. One part of me celebrates the old life and the other weeps for all that has been lost. This must be a good photo to bring up such strong feelings. My grand daughter was a member of a Native American youth group that brought teachers once or twice a year to the public schools to teach the little ones how things used to be. Only a drop in the bucket but better than nothing. One of the things she and I loved to watch was the erecting of the pole tent and taking it down at the end of the day. Excellent shot and good memories.
