La Bastida / Alava Province / Spain
La Rioja Alavesa es una de las tres subcomarcas en las que se divide la denominacion de origen de vino de La Rioja. Tiene 11.500 hectareas de viñedos y la economia local está basada en el monocultivo de la vid. La cosecha es de unos 30 millones de litros anuales de excelente vino.
The Rioja Alavesa is one of the three subregions in wich the denomination of La Rioja wine origin is divided. It has 11.500 hectareas of vineyards and the local economy is based in the monoculture of the grapevine. The annual harvest is around 30 millions of liters of excellent wine.
