Description

Weeeelll, this is turning into a theme, dammit. And this one is for surely not the last. This one is Sobek, the Egyptian God of crocodiles and protector of the River Nile. Painted in photoshop with a wacom Have a happy day all!

I love the columns in the background--they are a small part of the whole but they give depth and light to ol'Sobek--and this is the first non-Egyptian picture of him I have ever seen! You are very patient to do the striped headdress--it's a lot more work than one might think! This is a fun, fun series..oo do Nut! (Sparkly;-)

The Guardian of the Nile has a toothy grin but if you challenge him, you will not win. So be careful to pick a safe place to swim, if you do not want an end that's grim. Looks great.
