About the air show. Let me just say, there is a new base commander, and the air show was really not quite the same as last time we were out there helping David with his exhibit 4 years ago. They didn't have the Thunderbirds or the Blue Angels. DANG! They did have some of the older WWII planes, like the B-17(my favorite!) do fly bys. My dad flew these during WWII. He was a pilot. I can't explain it, but there just weren't as many things going on as before, especially more planes doing maneuvers. They didn't have the 'Tora Tora Tora' reinactment either. There weren't as many exhibits. Anyway, you get my drift. If I get any pictures from my sis 'n' law, maybe I'll post one for you.
