A couple of weeks ago I did a scene in Vue entitled 'B Roads' taking inspiration from our trips around Wales. Click here to see it if you haven't already.
Well, we spent a long weekend there and got back late last night. I took a discfull of photos and this place in particular 'wowed' me. It's not often that I make a verbal exclaimation of excitement at the sights we pass as I see many of them often and quietly enjoy their beauty but last Saturday this little place took my breath away - there were dozens of huge birch trees and the afternoon light catching the leaves made the whole place appear to glow. We stopped a little way down the road in a parking area and walked back. I took LOADS of photos. This is one of my favourites.
Where the road bends is a low walled bridge that passes over a clearwater brook. I took some shots of that too as there were fallen trees across the water and vines hanging from tree branches. Will post that at a later date....
Actually, this wasn't even a B class road, but an 'unclassified' road that's barely visible on the map. It's at a place near to Glasdir in Snowdonia.

I love the color quality of the orange tones! Nicely done! I somehow feel like I wouldn't want to live in a place called "Snowdonia" though. LOL. I'd be more up for something warm sounding. ;-)

Those colors are amazing--you must have caught them on the perfect day, since they don't keep that color for long! This is why fall is my favorite season!

We have many roads here that look just like that here in the Poconos, Pennsylvania. Beautiful to look at and photograph but annoying to drive on. I love how you have composed the shot to emphasize the curve. Great capture!

Wonderfull scene, where I'd make some How and fantastic if I were there too. In fact, I sought it was a Vue scene, such the softness of the colors and the lighting is good, the reality goes above 3D in your eyes. That's a top view !!!
