Description

Some where in a partly uncharted region of space lays an object in waiting. It has been in this region of space for a long time. It would appear that its existence has been forgotten. What purpose does this large monolith serve? That is unknown to us and makes the mystery even more intriguing. When looking at the structures of this monolith, the first thing that comes to mind is the word Sentinel. This huge form has Egyptian like qualities. Could this be from some ancient race? One can see what appears to be a pharaoh’s headdress. However, the facial features are not familiar to us. Could this monolith have been placed here to be a watcher? Our minds are racing ever so fast and the thoughts of the possibilities are endless. Can we solve this mystery? Can we find the creators of this watcher? On the other hand, perhaps we do not have a watcher. Perhaps we have a sentinel instead. Our thoughts are coursing even faster now. For this is a mystery that clearly speaks to the searcher within us. What will the outcome be? What adventures can we have in this great and glorious search?. Ding, ding. Ring, ring. Oh, drat. The alarm clock has gone off and now we have to wake up. This dream was just getting good. Let us hope that we can pick the mystery up again tonight when we dream. Yep. That’s it. It was all a dream. Or, was it? This is a single flame created with Apophysis 2.07 beta. Thank you for stopping by to look at my art. Thank you for your comments on this image and my previous images. I send a most heart felt thank you to those of you who have favored me as an artist or have favored one of my images. You have made my day a little brighter. May your day be filled with laughter and delight. And may your valley of life be filled with peace and tranquility. Namaste. The starter script for this flame was the plastic balls script which can be found here. http://www.my-fractals.com/scripts

Dang it! Uncharted region? Well how am I supposed to avoid if I don't know where it is? It's is beautiful and all, but I wouldn't wanna upset it so I think it would be best to just go around it.. You need to find out where this beastie is and let us know!

Aha! If he is related to our grasshoppers as Bunny wonders, perhaps it is cousin to the grasshopper I managed to capure on camera! This is a delightful looking sentinal, not at all scarey as one think a sentinal would be!

As I read the narrative I kept flashing back to Kubrick's "2001" ... but this is so different. Really beautifully done.
