A wonderful gritty shot, Valentin. Love the contrast of the powerful machine and chains compared to the delicate web. This is a superb shot, very well seen, not a thing gets passed your eyes!! Happy hugs and have a lovely eventime. Di. xx

very fine image - the spider's web is perfect to illustrate the age.

Reminiscent of the art of Kurt Schwitters! Marvelously captured and framed!

I find the hardness of the stone and metal are pared very well with the strength of the web. Both have amazing endurance. A very remarkable shot. Excellent!

Great textures, Valentin. I think perhaps that it is not so long since it was in use, not decades, anyway. The web is beautiful We have some at the rear of our church on the eaves. Thankfully some of our more mature parishoners have not good enough eyesight to see them... ;o) Have a nice week, with both mist and sunshine. Regards, John.

Excellent capture - made all the better by the fragile spider-web.

Fascinating capture of a once used machine. The harsh metal and stone are perhaps disconcerting but the rust, the wear, and the planted web, quickly remind that this device  is no longer employed. I particularly like the blurry but lit glimpses of background. Only my imagination can suggest potential uses to this find. Terrific photograph.

This one has so much going on, with the different textures and the inplications between the machinery and the spiderweb. A great eye to see this one Valentin.
