Description

Brides are always beautiful. I think this is because they are filled with so much joy and passion that their beauty from within shines and radiates outward. The Mandarin Bride is no exception. She comes from the house of Ching Ta. This fine and wealthy family resides on the Hoc Tu planet that is many light years away. On this auspicious occasion, the houses of Ching Ta and Glen Wee are uniting their family. It is a celebration that has been long awaited. The bride and groom were betrothed as children. What makes this arrangement different from most arranged marriages is that these two children were genetically destined for each other. Wow! Talk about arranged marriages. Before us, we see our beautiful Mandarin Bride taking on the ancestral garments of her family. The contrast of the earth tone ceremonial marriage garment and the colorful headdress are quite common in these types of rituals. It is thought that this is representation of heaven and earth and their bonding to one another. How divine. How simply divine. The flame is a single flame created with Apophysis 2.07 beta. Thank you for stopping by to look at my art. Thank you for your comments on this image and my previous images. I send a most heart felt thank you to those of you who have favored me as an artist or have favored one of my images. You have made my day a little brighter. May roses always adorn your life's path and may your abundance be in such great quantities that you will always have plenty to share and to spare. Namaste The figure is Victoria 3 and was rendered in Poser 6. The oriental headdress was a freebie from PoserWorld.

She is lovely! Can you imagine coming from such a heritage where each tiny ornament means something specific. Such rich tradition! Very cool how the fractal bit seems over and under the face.
