Now here's an image right up my alley. It's beautifully composed and presented, and the scale of everything is spot on. I love the crisp colors, all devoid of atmospheric haze; it looks like an actual space shot, and it's a great tribute to the NASA astronauts, and their international counterparts, all doing great work for Humanity, though they scarcely get the recognition they deserve for it. Fantastic!

This looks like something out of national geographic or some TV special. What an amazing scene! I noticed your models and gallery on your site, exceptional modeling making!

Wow, another breathtaking low earth orbit space scene! I have always found that planet placement at the top of the scene to be far more dramatic. Such is the case here. Terrific work!!

Love this. Now all you need is a trail of money being uselessly incinerated behind the space shuttle, and the verisimilitude will be complete.

Well, crocodilian, living up to your handle, I assume? Freedom of speech, something I defended in my military career for a couple of decades, permits cheerfully all kinds of opinions to be presented, however assinine and ill-informed they may be. Apparently, in your reptilian mind the term spin-offs does not exist. Look it up and see what the true benefits of spaceflight to this country (the USA and its citizens) actually are. It's mind-boggling and dwarfing any of the cost of pursuing a presence in space. Also, the money spent on space flight is but a drop in the bucket compared the all of the social programs that are turning this country into a near socialist'nanny state', where all rewards for excellence are being trivialized and disincentivized (because in any competition there will be winners and losers - can't hurt anyone's feelings like that), and where all risk that individuals may foolishly take, are being covered by all of the rest of the population, and that's the real travesty here.

Stunning picture. Other than that, Crocodilian probably thinks that the wheel was a bad invention. ;)

Awesome work on this piece, as mentioned above something not unlike what you might actually see from the footage up there. Excellent work!
