Description
From one extreme to the other... Yesterday I posted the 18x zoom test shot, today I share my super-macro focus test shot. The distance from the lens to cat's nose is approximately 1 cm (had to clean the lens right after this shot since she'd actually gotten closer and I had to back the camera up).
Since it was such a dark, gloomy day I chose to test this indoors with my cat. Like all cats I've ever met, Katrina seems to think she knows/sees/etc everything, hence the title.
As usual for my uploads, there is no postwork (not even cropping) here except for resizing down to comply with Renderosity's max size requirements. ©2007, Windchime Photography.

Fierce… This marco is superb. The dark hair and glowing eyes add an intense dimension to this feline-reality. The mood generated by this capture is commanding and exciting. If only those eyes could speak, allowing a glimpse into their rich and wonderful world. Bravo.

Exciting kitty picture. Looks like you're having a great time with your new camera. I heard Jonathan Frakes do a reading of a sci-fi short story, "Desertion" by Clifford D. Simak, which had a dog character. Ever since I've entertained the notion of animals consciousness extending into parallel dimensions. They are "seeing" and "hearing" things of which I'm usually unaware. So, I try to pay more attention to them. James Redfield called this "the gift of the animals" in "The Tenth Insight".
