Description
The comet and the sun were entirely generated in Terragen. I did postwork in Macromedia Fireworks to add the stars in the background. My previous images similar to this used Adobe Photoshop to warp terragen terrain into a spherical shape, add the sun and add the stars (Terragen was not used).

WOW! No comments here? Oh well...it's a great image! I love the faint wisp of gas, just barely blanketing the surface. Great sense of perspective as well! Great image, realistically dark as well. If I were to change anything, which isn't necessary, I'd add just a faint bit more fuzzy, irregular haze to the horizon, but that's just me. The image as it stands is a great piece of work!
