Rock on! Another attempt at realistic painting. Recognize him? Hope so! I would have done Kirk, since he's actually lead guitarist, but, uhh, I think James is a bit sexier, and also a bit easier. :D I don't normally go for the rockstar guy, but something about his shirt and hair in Unforgiven II is totally jumpable. :O I didn't bother using filters for texture this time around. In the end, I thought it detracted from the piece. I almost decided to go sepia with this, but in the end, I decided grayscale made the lighting even more dramatic. It's a bit too blurry for my tastes, but whe I tried cleaning it up, I wasn't happy with the result. I should keep practicing... maybe :p
