BobbyStahr aka Robert Purves was seduced into computers late in life(age 45) by a free Amiga 1000 that I needed to transcribe music with. When that was done one thing led to another and 18 months later due to a need for speed and Imagine porting over I jumped to a pc. Never looked back happy to say. I play no games, have no business software, just art and music. BIO I use Imagine a lot, Photoshop quite a bit, Vue6I PLE a bit also, and have played a bit with the free ver. of Cinema4D, and am recently enamored of the new TG 3 Free. I also write copious amounts of music in an awesome and inexpensive music writing software called MelodyAssistant, available at http://www.myriad-online.com The hyphen is part of the URL. Highly reccomended to anyone, musician or not. I got into art from sports at an early age when I discovered I was more into cooperation than competition...my mission statement is" Never go straight.....Go Forward...."

yeah, the massive tree growth adds a lot to the picture... very nicely done!

Wow much better! Your trees are awesome, perfect translucency.
lucbianco
You may try to increase the trees coverage
seth93
nice shot dude ! i second lucbianco on his comment... and perhaps get some trees on the low altitude of the mountains :)

I really like this, Bobby. It looks real.

Yeah....well as my old monitor is dying I've over compensated for sure and as a colour blind person, to me, I don't see it, so I can't adjust it once on this computer with a new monitor that displays correctly. To me , my affliction, is largely a matter of tones in certain ranges...if I don't see 'em , well I don't seem so they don't bother me. I'd be pleased as punch if you were to dl the image, do the adjustment in an image app, and send me the result to see if I can educate my eyes...thar sometimes helps me make connections. I'm serious and my e mail is: bstar@mts.net should anyone care to do this...thanx in advance.. ...

Very well done Bobby, I really like this image!! Bravo!!!

Great POV Bstahr! IMO tho, the trees seem a bit big for the terrain. It could be just me tho. Nice density on the foliage tho!!
bobbystahr
@xplosivemind...could be due to the fact the camera is at tree tops level so the foreground trees will look out of proportion...focus on the distant ones and they will come into focus as correctly sized I think.. ...

Great lighting.
bobbystahr
@Saurav....thanks man, am doing another one with tweaks suggested far and wide...was bored with the lighting as well so I've changed it...LOL...we'll see if it's as good.. ...

Very nice image. About the "tree" population, in my opinion it looks like a Cannabis field and you have to know that some strains (this one for example!) don't grow at higher altitudes (this hill reaches the clouds). Have a nice harvest and thanks for sharing.

Heh heh heh...sorta looked like that to me but they are actually a tree....forget the name but I believe it came from ONYX tree from back when I was doing renders for my architect friend....I could/should/will change the leaf for a cannabis one if it's possible and we shall see for sure....LOL.. ...
