Psylocke as Lady Mandarin. Though a very simple design, this wallpaper was my first actual graphic creation and it still remains one of my favorites to this day! I made it when I was in the 7th grade back in 2003 (seems so long ago). That was the year when I got a computer of my own and thus I started experimenting with photoshop. Right away I wanted to make wallpapers, but all I knew how to do was to copy and paste images to a background and maybe distort their coloring a little. Of course, I wanted something better and different. After fiddling around with a Pylocke picture I found, I wondered "what if I just highlight the shines"? So, by using the polygonal Lasso Tool and a paint brush, I recopied the shines onto a different layer with two shades of purple. The result ended up like this.
