To those that stand between us and those that would do us harm. To those that pay the price of life and limb and peace of mind To those that do the things that we cannot stomach or care to think of To those that do this for us I thank you and am forever in you debt

This is much for reading. :o) Maybe one day we won't have anymore "Flander's Fields" and we will learn war is not good for children and other living creatures. a great dedication to those who protect us and made the ultimate sacrifice.

I like both images, but this one seems to have more depth to it. Very well done on both accounts.

I like both the pictures but I like the expression in the young soldiers eyes, a very wide eyed and innocent gaze that I am sure would change after a few weeks on the front line. A fitting tribute, thank you for helping us to remember the fallen of all the wars. Hugs

This one is beautiful too!!!

Awesome!

The first one looks more antique and like it's from a past poster. This one looks more modern and like a photo. Excellent work and dedi! Bunny

They are both lovely and with different styles. This one I think I like better but it is a marginal call. A lovely dedication.
Osper
Well done (either one)

The soldier in this image looks so much more innocent than in the previous one. It breaks my heart that so little has been learnt since November 11 1918, when they signed the peace on WWI. Over here they called it "La der des der". The last of the last. But it really was not. Great dedication to all who have fought, for freedom, for peace, for their beliefs throughout the years.

Touching image and dedication,just beautiful!!

Excellent image! The poem I saw before but did not pay attention to it's meaning. The render really brings that meaning out. Really nice work!

A modern tribute to all that have fallen. Either image is a tribute to those who sacrificed their lives so that we can enjoy the freedoms and liberties that we take for granted today. Even today, as Canadian soldiers die in Afghanistan, their sacrifice do not go unnoticed. I was spared the horrors of war. My great-uncle was a survivor of Vimy Ridge in WWI. My uncle was a U.S. Marine in WWII. My father, who served with the 12th Manitoba Dragoons was a welcome sight as liberators of Holland in WWII. All three survived the war in which they served their country, but none are alive today.
