Description

This image was created with Pretty3d's character for V3 though I don't have thier mat's so I used V3's hires mats and makeup.. As with so many of my V3 character's the head morphs had multiple error's when loading the morphs and I'm starting to suspect they've somehow gotten corrupted!! However my backup disk's where trashed so I will just have to deal with it for now.. Outfit is Lygher Xero's Templar outfit for V4!! Would appreciate idea's on how I can flesh out the arrow's in the quiver.. Guess I should've added more in daz but I didn't!! I utilize gimp and photofiltre though I can't paint with a mouse so that tend's to limit my options.. I'll leave comment's on, but I would prefer they were restricted to advise on how I can improve this image as much as possible!! Thanks for looking in and any and all advise you care to leave.. Mark.. p.s. Original rendered at 2400x Edited: Ok used a different technique from that suggested for my arrow issue.. Something I've never tried before, but think it turned out ok overall... Appreciate the tip from Rockdog though and any and all tips that assist me at becoming better as an artist wannabe!! Didn't make any noticeable changes to the skin tone's though.. I kind of liked the tones the way they where!! Only one area that I felt needed some work and made several attempts to fix it.. Was an issue caused by the fog in my render!! Kind of distorted the tones and didn't blend in as well as I prefer..

Awesome job.. Looks great all around, the lighting, mood, the textures.. Ok, as for the arrow in the quiver question.. render separate arrows by them selves and add them in photoshop... While the only thing in this pic that I would touch up would be her skin texture...

Nicely done. You're definitely beyond "artist wannabe", I'd say :-). I save off your images often, for enjoying them later. This one is a little dark, again. You've become very good at the painted hair and her facial expression is very nice. The cloth shorts hanging around her waist have just the right folds and krinkle. Nice job on the quivver of arrows, too, I thought. If I were nitpicking, I'd point out that the feathers should have ridges and the nocks should have a slot for the bowstring. Hey, I'm an archer, not an artist! The inside surface of the quivver, which looks feather-like, may be a bit confusing.
