I am so pleased to be a member here at Renderosity. For me Renderosity is much more than a place to display my works. I have made many friend's here. I take so many photographs but I do not like to have my own photograph taken.. I actually like this shot. I say a huge thank you, to My Goha for postworking this shot for me. The original shot was taken up at my friend's house. He put this wonderful swing in the largest tree on his land! Iccle pushes me up so high!! The swing is over precipice, so not for the faint hearted... but such fun.. I love to be at their house and feel like a child again on this swing. I will tell you why I choose my RR name, "Rainbows". When my niece Victoria was a very little girl, she used to say to me.. Auntie DiDi "I love you, all the world and rainbows". I love her just as much as she loves me. She is older now and our love for each other is so strong. A beautiful day is wished for you all. Hugs. Diane.

In the USA we call it Veterans Day. I was appalled to hear a student ask why we needed to remember them. Not being one who can bypass an opportunity to talk, I did. The boys made me breakfast! Being a veteran I really loved it! You have created a beautiful remembrance! I thank you!

When the heart swells with emotion too full to carry, a hearty, "hu ah", clears the breath for yet another step.

Words fail us in the face of such deep and meaningful time of tribute for those who gave so much.

How beautiful, and a beautiful dedication to go with it. Here, veterans sell tiny little poppies made from some material or other at certain times of the year. They usually stand at the doors of a bank or grocery store. I always buy one, and had quite huge bouquet of them fastened to the rear view mirror of my car. I forgot to take them out when I sold that car, I hope they are still on the rear view mirror in remembrance. I have not seen them for sale since, do don't even have a new bunch started!

Red flower, red like the blood of many, too, victims of a terrible monster like war! A nice photo accompanied by wonderful words for a great dedication! Big hug . dear Diane

The poppy means so much, on November 11th, no matter what country you are in. Like a universal remembrance. A fantastic photo Di!
