Description

I was thinking on the color green when I did this one, and looking through pictures of a state park which my parents took me to when I was a child. I remember those visits to Cook's Forest in Pennsylvania very fondly, mostly for the remarkable, ancient trees. As I've returned as an adult, I've found that it's become very commercial, which is kind of sad. I'm a fan of progress and technology. On the other hand, there's something to be said for not developing some places simply because we can, or there's a quick buck to be made. In any case, this is a tribute to the magic of Cook's Forest which I will always remember as my introduction to the majesty of nature.
