Description

One of the windmills in my hometown. This one is the youngest: construction started in 1987 and was finished in 1991 (yes...we Dutch still do build windmills). It's located in the neighbourhood of Oerle, which is part of the municipality of Veldhoven. Enjoy! Thanks for your comments on my last upload, "Meet Mr. Bup". Paul

How nice to know new windmills are being built still. And are they used for the same reason or do that have some function other than pumping water out of low lands? This is a very nice shot and it has a feeling of modern-meets-old world.
