This appears to be a Leaf Hopper. Great shot showing much detail, color and variance to this little guy's anatomy.

For those wondering...this insect is about 10mm in length...or a little less than half an inch long. I am not positive, but I think it is a variety of shield bug. No color enhancements...pretty well straight out of the camera...just a bit of sharpening.

Looks to me like a stink bug! We get them on our citrus trees. The young ones are quite green but as they mature they change to an apricot colour. I've just taken a bunch off my grapefruit tree as they suck the goodness from the fruit as it forms. Anyhoo - Love this! Nice focus on the eyes - excellent composition!

Absolute pity about the watermark, I actually can't see ANY of the detail, hence making the photo pretty useless, IMHO
