A lot of these have been posted lately.. all were very nicely done ones..this is the only one I even got close to this year..at least he stayed still long enough to get a couple of shots... Thanks for all the view and comments on the recent images..very much appreciated..

These are hard to catch, very nice detail and color I like the way the light is hitting his back and the shadows on the post well done!!

I have NO dragonflies in my gallery. There's a reason for that. Those buggers are FAST! LOL! I'm totally impressed that you got this shot, my friend. It looks like it's kind of looking over it's shoulder at you. Very cool!

it is beautiful capture and I have one in my gallery. this breed has always been a challenge to capture for me.they seem to be very nervous.try sneaking up behind them very slowly ,and often they will return to the same perch if you are still.Leeco seems to have them almost eating out of his hand, but no one is around his property to cause them to be afraid or cautious
