Some days on a hike, nothing seems to go right such as this picture. This little forest area is called Pu'u Huluhulu which is located right next to an old volcanic mound called Mauna Ulu. Aloha and thank you for viewing

Oh Sharkman ,you're too darn fussy ,and you know it man !!! :) You must be joking ,this shot is just find and dandy in my books , otherwise why would you have posted it then ? Lets not forget that we are dealing with two great elements here ," extreme backlight ,and shade in the foreground " If it would of been me ,it would'nt come out at all ! Pretty dense vegetation i tell you ,you best stick to the trail Errol ,the light will guide you out ! :) You've done well pilgrim !

Interesting capture of this cone of light. Looks like one of the ray beams that UFOs use to abduct people and animals. Aloha and sayonara!

This is close to perfection, Errol. There's only a small amount of lost detail in that very bright light, but you managed to expose the dark areas well too, instead of having them just be black blobs. Well done.
