Description

A quick render in VUE 6 Infinte using simple but large ( 2km x 3km etc ) TERRAPAK terrain, and water and a Scottish winter morning atmosphere. There are 5 objects, 1 light, and only 15,000 odd polygons / lost parrots to this scene. Admittedly the terrain looks furry / fuzzy, but then it comes down to 52KB in jpg for 1024x768, so there were obviously some trade-offs.Indeed the terrain could be quite luxuriant plant cover, at that distance. I am just getting the hang of the VUE cameras again, after some rendering in TERRAGEN. That is why I purchased TERRAPAK from Chipp Walters of Altuit Inc. It definitely makes one think about composition and being simple, if at all possible, in one's rendering. Something happened to my Materials folder, when I upgraded to 6.5, but it all seems to have sorted itself out now. Probably just me ;o)
