Hi, thanks for looking in...
Seems I'm on a fantasy kick lately. 'the Ranger' is a character study using DAZ's Michael 3 with morphs and the 'Merlin' texture set from RDNA. Outfit is 'Wild Hunt: Wildenlander' from Luthbel, also avalable at DAZ.
DAZ|Studio render, minimal postwork.
Lights are Uberspots substituted into Dreamlight's free lightset, falloff is used on the fill and bounce lights.
The biggest challenge here was trying to overcome the painted highlights on the skin texture and the bump map that is better suited for a specular map. This was a very good texture for it's time, but I think the shortcomings are starting to show. I'd really like to see an older, weathered male texture that's done to recent standards... perhaps when Mike 4 comes out.
As always - constructive critique and suggestions for improvement are encouraged and appreciated. Simple orchids and onions are welcome too. Thanks much!

WOW! You mentioned the shortcomings of the Merlin texture sets, but it's clear you've overcome them! This is one of the more realistic images I've seen, especially for a male model! Well done!
