Description

I would like you all to meet my mate Blue, we call him Blue cause he's a red head! Any mate with red hair is usually nicknamed Blue over here in Aussieland...Oh and Blue is a giant anthill! Now I am 5'6 or roughly 167cm tall so Blue would have to be at least 2 metres tall or more. Someone with a great sense of humour gave him his smiley face and he sits at the top of a hill overlooking the great west outback! (He's also single girls, if you are interested) lol

Well I am so glad I didn't post my ant hill today..must have known something..your's is taller than mine..has a nicer attitude..but you will see mine is more on the chubby side...great shot...

And a G'Day to you too. I agree with Mick I don't think I would be stood so close to that thing either, I have a couple of unhappy experiences of ant hills when I was a kid, I sat on a couple and was covered in bites. I say ant hills but they were not realy hills they were underground nests. Great shot of this one, somebody has a sense of humour. I suppose it could have been worse. Bravo!!!!!

This is great...now where is the Echidna to go with this? Probably ate so much it is sleeping it off in the shade of a nearby bush. :-) I have had some bad experiences with ants too but they were red ants (also known as fire ants) and the bite from just one of those has been known to cause a lot of problems for someone sensitive to their sting... I don't know much about the ants that make this mess...
