Hello !
May I present my beloved mother. I took this shot yesterday. If everything goes well, she will be 95 years old in January.
She is a loving always kind and smiling lady. Unfortunately she lost much of her memory because of Alzheimer, but still she remember us children. :))

Today we have general election. so we will go and mark our ballot paper.
Grey weather and I got massage in my chair this morning, because of the work on the neigbours underground. LOL It was not so bad.

I do not have time to comment today or even this week but when I saw this photograph and his title, I had a blow in the heart and this kind of feeling of sadness when we remember a dear person in our heart which is'nt no more there : my mom. Your mom with a face so beautiful which reflects an attaching and very human personality which explains what you are. Thank you for this post!

I too saw this picture and thought how sweet this face was and how lovely it would be to have a mother around and expecially one that gave you such a good memory of your life. I lost my mother to mental illness when I was about 6. She didn't die until I was in my mid-30s but the mother I grew up with was not one that I wanted photos of to remember and she made each day so very difficult to get through. Very unlike this beautiful woman in your life. You are so very lucky.

95? Wow! She looks at least 15-20 years younger than that to me, Helle. What a wonderful photograph. My mom and grandmother had Alzheimer's, and I was my mom's caregiver, so I understand all too well this disease. It is a most difficult process to watch. Hugs and prayers, Suzanne

It is a very very lovely picture of your mother. Helle I can see that she is feeling very well, so it was the very right dession when she moved to that nursing home.Now every one can feel secure and happy.

What a wonderful portrait, she looks bright and full of life, I would have guessed about 65, no way 94. An excellent shot and one to treasure, I bet she was a stunner when she was in her teens, you can see it in her eyes. Bravo!!!!!
