Description

I want to thank all the artists who fav'd and commented on my last image. The comments always mean so much and are appreciated. I am feel so honored. Thank you. :o) I took ballet lessons...for about a month. I was told I had long legs, but the rest of me was too short. So that ended my career as a famous Prima ballerina. My mother in all her wisdom, decided I should take tap dancing lessons. That lasted a little longer...though after our recital of 'Ukulele Girl,' costumed in hula skirts made of cellophane thin strips, cellophane leis, a banned green elastic top, which luckily had a ribbon that tied around the neck to keep it up, holding a ukulele, strumming said ukulele to some incredibly bad tune, singing and tap dancing our way around the stage. So what if I heel toed instead toe heeled, so what if I went the other way, I thought they were supposed to follow me! So what if I forgot the words to the bad song...well my mother was told her daughter had no talent for tap dancing. She was beside herself and father thought I was original and delightful. lol So that ended any career of dancing with Gene Kelly or Fred Astaire or the chorus line of a Broadway musical. But! All of this training came to my benefit when I reached High School. Girls Field Hockey! Boy could I heel and toe my way down the field and spin on a dime. lol Hey guys, if you think Football is a rough sport, you have never seen girls or women play field hockey...we are vicious. lol This is a true story and I even have the bloody pictures to prove it and NO, I will not post them. So ha! lol Use your imagination. lol This story has nothing to do with this image, but I bet you didn't know there was L'école de ballet deep in the Forest which is associated with the Ballet Russe, la Division de Fée. Yup, there is, but that's another story... or so I am told. :o) DAZ-The Ballroom DAZ-Poet Shirt DAZ-Michael (my morph) reminds me of Robin Williams lol DAZ-Degas Ballerina for Aiko- MAB and Will Dupre (wonderful product)

I love your story and even if you can't do ballet you can certainly draw it, your mother would be pleased. This is a wonderful scene with such a lot of work to it and it is beautifully done. You have captured the essence of a ballet dancer.

At least you had long legs. I'm short. Fluffy enough now to qualify as an apple on two sticks. Sigh... never could do the dang splits. I got dizzy from the pirouettes. I think they did like my tennis teacher when I grew up and offered to pay my mom not to have me take lessons any more. :os Excellent scene and characters. Love the story too. Bunny Dang splits. Ptooey!

Interesting Ballet scene, I reminded of the French Impressionists, a touch of yellow light from the candles above would really make the render and floor stand out, but I like your posing and characters. As for Hockey chicks...yeah, your part of the mean team, once at school the 10 year old boys (me) played the 16 year old girls and we got hammered, bruised and bloodied...OUCH ! LOL & ~Cheers~ :o)
