Winter Comes This is dedicated to my Dear Friend Marlene aka Shahlaa! It was her lovely "Winter Blanket" that caught my eye to be used as a background! Oh my what a lovely shot! So well composed.... all the complimentary blues added here and there, even in the shadow on the horse, add such perfect continuity and are expertly achieved! Bravo, Dennis!

Superb winter work! All the white with the blues as contrast is lovely! Marlene is certaintly rockin in Bryce! I want to make a winter image, but at 84 degrees out here, I can't get into it, LOL!

excellent work! good job of placing the models in the scene. both the horse and rider are beautiful... well posed and well lit. I love the way her hair is flying in the wind; it looks so cold.

Very beautiful Dennis. This may become more of a fantasy creation than it was intended. I heard today that a popular Austrian ski resort whose town solely depends on a yearly skiing event went to the trouble and expense of flying in snow from the Alps by heliocopter at a tremendous cost. The slope was 100% ready when a freak wind storm blow it all away before the big race. The perma frost is slip sliding away and global warming may make our 'White Christmas' as much a part of long ago Christmas magic as old St. Nick himself. So sad, but this is wonderful. Merry Christmas Dear Friend!
