Description
I've been participating for several years now on an online forum where everything from politics to religion is discussed. The conversations get pretty heated at times, but after several hundred posts, or even thousands, bonds are established.
Someone finally came up with the idea of meeting in person, and what emerged is the Forum Get Together, or it's alter ego name, The Gathering of the Church of Baal. It's a good time where drinks, laughter and the mystical intoxication of standing in front of an open fire brings these virtual friends together to celebrate the fact that we are not just virtual beings, but good old fashion flesh and blood folks who like to bend your ear with a good story or an opinion.

once back in 1999 i got together with a penpal of mine from three years on ICQ=it was a surreal experiance and a treasure memory to finally meet the person i had chatted with for hours on it ill never forget it ... this is a wonderful image of fireside friendship!!!
