Description
Captured 11/12/07 around 7 AM, .73 of a mile from my residence.
The humble snapdragon, a species that hardly or never gets any play on Renderosity, possibly because it doesn't feature the big broad petals and/or pistils of other flowers, such as roses, dahlias, sunflowers, orchids and zinnias.
The water drops on this beauty are from an early morning automatic sprinkling system, and not from dew or rain.
Snapdragons are kind of rare around my general area, so I was fortunate to capture this one, among various others of its ilk, in a flower bed at the entrance of a shopping mall. And they grow relatively low to the ground, so I'm fortunate to have a rotating LCD monitor screen on my camera so I don't have to lie flat or kneel way down to photograph them.
Gosh, is it hump day already? Oh well, have a good one!

I say, dump water on all dragons... it puts their firy breath out! See? no smoke issuing from this bad-boy's face! :-) A wonderful shot, Harry, and I'm glad you didn't have to crawl around on the ground to get it.

What a beautiful picture of these snapdragons, and the water droplets add to the beauty. I don't often see yellow snapdragons so this really caught my eye.
